Crumpets in Thick Syrup Recipes


  • 1500 gr. sugar (7.5 water glasses)
  • 2 lt. water (10 water glasses)
  • 5-10 drops of lemon juice

KRAL Kismet Crumpets with Thick Syrup


Place crumpets into a baking tray. Mix 1500 gr. sugar (7.5 water glasses), 2 lt. water (10 water galsses) and 5-10 drops of lemon juice and boil. Pour ¼ of the warm syrup you prepared over crumpets. After 15 minutes, boil the remaining syrup in moderate heat and pour it over the crumpets until it is totally absorbed.
